K, a land surveyor, has arrived to a distand mountain village,
where he has been hired to work under the jurisdiction of the mysterious Castle.
But when trying to find his way to the castle K encounters insuperable obstacles. However, in the village he becomes acquainted with people that he believes are able to help him to reach his objective. And gradually the mysteries, connected with certain incidents in the past, start to get revealed.

Kristian Huitula's graphic novel adaptation contains the whole storyline of the literary classic. The second and final part concludes the story of Franz Kafka's third novel, the book that ended up being Kafka's last long novel.
